Monthly Walk-in Days
Our monthly walk-in day is typically held on the second Saturday of each month from 11 AM–3 PM (with a summer break in July). Some months it's Open Studio, and other months it's Top Stitch & Friends—our Open Studio event with vend-friends!
Whether you stop by for Open Studio or Top Stitch & Friends, you can:
Drop off your mending pile for repair.
Bring one item with a simple repair for an on-the-spot mini-mend.
Tour the studio, ask questions, and see what we're all about.
At Top Stitch, we believe we can care for our material things and each other at the same time. That's why Top Stitch & Friends also features local repair specialists, low-waste businesses, creative reuse makers, and other sustainability-minded vendors offering products, services, and resources for our community.
We LOVE meeting new people, sew don't be shy—come say hi!

Mini-mends will be available based on busyness levels. If you have a single item that needs one small mend (i.e. missing button, hook, tack, or tear *on seam*), we will do our best to fix it on the spot.
If it's busy, you may want to walk over to one of our amazing neighbors like Union Market or Pizza Bones, to have lunch while you wait.
Please prep any item you have as listed below in How to Prep Your Pile.

Be sure to prep your pile by washing your clothing, marking the damaged areas (next to / not on top of) with tape, safety pins or a detailed note.
Pop those clean items into a tote or grocery bag and label it with your name and contact info. Now you are all set to swing by!
**Remember, anything with moth holes MUST be put in a ziplock bag in the freezer for a minimum of 72hrs before drop off. Please bring these item(s) still inside their ziplocks- thank you!!
