You’ve signed up for the class, you’ve booked the drop-off; now there’s just one more question: Where do I park? Let us walk you through our multiple parking options!

Street Parking: Directly in front of our studio and across the street, you can typically find street parking. Parking is available any hour except 4–6 PM, when ticketing is enforced.

Shared Parking Lot: One block down, at Hull and Brander, is a shared parking lot with about nine spaces, plus additional spots along the wall parallel to the lot. You’ll know you’re in the right place if you see “Warehouse 201” signs! (To clear up any confusion: We can’t put Top Stitch signs in this lot, but you are allowed to park here.) This is the only shared parking lot we recommend.

Please note that the larger parking lot behind the building on your right is permit-only. Do not park there, as unauthorized vehicles may be towed.

For our cyclists: There are two bike racks on either side of the building, each with space for two bikes. There are also a few street signs around the studio where you can lock up.

• Hugging the side of the building on the left of Brander St.

• Street parking right outside the building between 4-6pm

• 7+ days out - If you can’t make it to class, let us know whether you’d like credit for a future class (for you to reschedule) or a full refund.

• 6-3 days out - Let us know whether you’d like 50% credit towards a future class, for you to reschedule (this can also be applied to mending) or a 50% refund. A third option is to let us know you’ll be sending a friend to class in your place.

• 48 hours out - Since we can’t offer refunds or class credits within 48 hours of the class or class series start date, if you can’t make it due to illness or emergency, we recommend gifting your spot in class to a friend or family member.

We do our best to accommodate for illness and emergencies, but without sufficient notice it isn’t always possible, as the cancellation policy allows us time to inform other students of short notice availability and helps utilize our dedicated teaching hours to best serve everyone.

If Top Stitch Mending cancels for any reason, we'll work with you to reschedule!

You can reschedule your lesson up to 7 days before the day you originally booked.

Press the Reschedule button at the bottom of your registration confirmation email, then follow the prompts. If you need to reschedule within 1-6 days of your lesson please contact us directly at TopStitchMending@gmail.com. We ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice to reschedule your lesson. Your original payment will go towards the next date you choose.

How to cancel your lesson:

Press the Cancel button at the bottom of your registration confirmation email, then follow the prompts. Cancellations made 7 or more days in advance of the lesson date will receive a 100% refund.

• Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days of the lesson will receive a 75% refund.

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the lesson will receive a 50% refund.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the lesson will not receive a refund.

If Top Stitch Mending cancels for any reason, you’ll always get a full refund!

For group classes, our space welcomes up to 4 students in machine sewing classes and up to 6 in hand sewing classes. We like to keep it small so that everyone can receive individualized attention.

For private sewing parties, please contact us directly if you have more than 6 people to see if we can accommodate your needs.

Yes, you can add a friend in the scheduling process! Have more than 1 friend who would like to join? Please email us at topstitchmending@gmail.com so we can set up a custom group class for you.
