In this 2-hour class, you will learn how to clean and lubricate your sewing machine. We'll cover the upper and lower parts of the machine. This is home maintenance, not complicated servicing. The aim is to prolong the life of your machine, maintain the quality of your stitches and lengthen the periods in between professional services. Please bring the sewing machine you want to learn to maintain. Students should be able to thread their machine and sew test swatches.
This class needs 2 people to run so sign up with a friend or share in your story to help spread the word. If the class doesn’t reach its minimum capacity, we will notify you 2 days in advance and issue a refund for your payment. Invite your friends through our Facebook event!

There is typically street parking within a block or two and a small shared parking lot located at the very corner of Hull St. and Brander St. with a few spaces. Please do not park in the larger lot behind the building as it requires a permit and you could be towed.
