In this 2-hour quilting class, you will learn the art of quilting. Improvisational Quilting, put simply, is a resourceful style of quilting that doesn’t rely on patterns. It requires trust, chance and fabric scraps. In this workshop, we’ll explore the rich history of improv quilting and try our hand at constructing an improv quilt block from start to finish!
This class is great for anyone who is as interested in the history and research of quilting as they are the technical skill! Let’s build community through craft! No experience necessary. Feel free to bring scraps, notions or thread that you enjoy!
This class is for people ages 10+. If you are looking for a class for someone younger, please see our 1:1 lessons.
