In this 2-hour class, you will learn how to clean and lubricate your serger. We'll cover the upper and lower parts of the machine. This is home maintenance, not complicated servicing. The aim is to prolong the life of your machine, maintain the quality of your stitches and lengthen the periods in between professional services. Please bring the serger you want to learn to maintain and 4 spools of thread for test sewing after we're done cleaning. Students must have experience threading and operating their serger.

There is typically street parking within a block or two and a small shared parking lot located at the very corner of Hull St. and Brander St. with a few spaces. Please do not park in the larger lot behind the building as it requires a permit and you could be towed.
