Sashiko-Style Patches
In this 2-hour, hand sewing class, you will learn a running stitch, backstitch and prick stitch to create sashiko-inspired patches. These hand stitches are fun and functional, adding strength and visual interest to worn out clothing. They are also great for stain cover-ups. Students often say this practice feels meditative.
