Serger Sewing 1
In this 2-hour, machine sewing class, you will learn the ins and outs of your serger. We will go over how to thread your machine, serge various fabrics, change your needle, and change your presser foot. We’ll walk through the parts and settings along the way, and practice the serging basics.
This class is good for someone looking to get comfortable with a serger.
We have a serger that you can borrow if you don’t currently have one. Please note that you’d like to use our serger when prompted for the make/model of your machine during sign-up. If you have your own serger, please bring that to class along with your power cord/pedal, and manual (if you have it).
Our studio is located at 401 N 23rd St. in the Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond, VA. There is typically ample street parking within a block or two.
